Alexander Geremeev is no longer with PAOK and will continue his soccer career in Indonesia with Persija Jakarta.
The Swedish forward bid farewell to the “Double-Headed Eagle of the North” via a social media post, thanking everyone he worked with and the team’s fans, while emphasizing that although his time at the club was brief, he enjoyed every second of it.
Geremejev’s post: “My time at PAOK has come to an end
First and foremost, I’d like to thank the President, Mr. Savvidis, for giving me the opportunity to play for his team. A big thank you to Mrs. Maria for everything. I also want to thank Coach Razvan and Mr. Karipidis for believing in me and showing me their trust. I am forever grateful and hope I lived up to their expectations—at the very least, I gave it my all. I also want to thank the staff and everyone at PAOK; it’s incredible how quickly you made me part of the PAOK family from day one. I can’t mention everyone by name because it’s such a big family, but you know who you are, and I love you all.
Then, of course, my teammates—so many talented players and great guys—you’ve all helped me a lot.
Last but not least, to all the PAOK fans. It might not sound genuine, since I wasn’t here that long, but the way you treated me was incredible. Your support for me and my family was something I’ve never seen before, and I’ll be forever grateful—believe me.
Even though my time at the club was brief, I enjoyed EVERY second of it.
Good luck in the future.”
