A 58-year-old tourist lost her life in Rhodes after being struck by lightning near the Lindos area.
According to information from the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA), the 58-year-old was struck by lightning and died at the scene.

An ambulance was immediately dispatched to the area; however, by the time the crew arrived, the woman had already lost her pulse, and it was not possible to provide her with medical assistance.
According to local media, the 58-year-old woman and her husband were walking in the “Lothiarika” area of Laerma when the tragedy occurred.
The relevant authorities are investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
