New details regarding the events leading up to Giorgos Mazonakis’s transfer to the hospital “Elpis” are coming to light through a statement by Giorgos Mathiopoulos, president of the EKAB employees’ union and vice president of POEDIN.

Speaking to ERT News, Mr. Mathiopoulos described in detail the scene the paramedics encountered when they arrived at the clinic on Karneadou Street, the information available to them at that time, as well as the allegations subsequently leveled against the crew.
