An accident was narrowly averted on Milos, specifically in Sarakiniko, when a woman who had gone for a swim was unable to get back to shore. Strong winds had caused such rough seas that the woman was unable to swim. 

Every time she tried to grab a rock to pull herself out of the water, a strong wave would come and sweep her back into the water. The woman’s struggle had a happy ending, as shown in the related video posted on TikTok.
