A 52-year-old family tragedy resulting from the Turkish invasion and occupation
August 19, 1974. Time stood still for Chrystalla Kyriakou Potamou, the heroic mother from Kato Deryneia. On that day, Turkish soldiers snatched her three children right from her arms: five-year-old Andreas and her twin daughters, Maria and Kika. The two girls turned three that day. They have been missing ever since.
