The Council of Ministers is meeting today for its second session following the recent government reshuffle by President of the Republic Nicos Christodoulides.
According to government sources, among the items on the agenda is a proposal from the Ministry of Education to open three additional full-day schools.
The Cabinet is also expected to review two proposals put forward by the Ministry of Justice and Public Order regarding the construction of a new fire station, as well as a new Police Headquarters in the city.
The agenda also includes the creation of a national strategy and the establishment of a national committee on multiple sclerosis.
At the same time, according to the same sources, issues regarding subsidies from the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and the Environment, as well as the semi-annual fiscal policy report from the Ministry of Finance.
