Developments surrounding Zélson Martins appear to have a direct impact on Olympiacos’s transfer plans for the wings, as Krasnodar remains determined to sign the Portuguese player.
Reports from Russia indicate that Krasnodar has already reached an agreement with the 31-year-old winger on the personal terms of his contract. His reported annual salary exceeds 2.5 million euros, a sum significantly higher than what he currently earns at Olympiacos, which has made the player receptive to the possibility of a move to Russia.

The main obstacle, however, remains reaching an agreement between the two clubs. Krasnodar has offered around 4 million euros, but the Piraeus club does not seem willing to let Zelsson go for that amount. The “Red-and-Whites” are demanding a sum close to 6 million euros, and if the Russians come close to that figure, then it is likely that substantive discussions regarding his sale will begin.
A potential departure by Zelsson would also create a new situation regarding reinforcements on the wings. The Piraeus club may reconsider the case of Girona’s Brian Hill.
The Spanish winger is a player José Luis Medilibar holds in high regard and could return to the forefront, even if only as an alternative option. Vargas remains Olympiacos’ top target for that position, while another team has also shown strong interest in Servette’s Kantile.
