The Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center expresses its sadness and disappointment that no representative of the Center was included in the first Board of Directors of the National Cancer Institute. In a written statement, it notes that “from the very beginning, we have supported the establishment of the new Institute and recognized its importance for coordinating and further strengthening the national cancer policy.”
“Regardless of the disappointment caused by the Center’s lack of representation on the Board of Directors, the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center remains at the disposal of the State and the National Cancer Institute for meaningful collaboration, with the shared goal of continuously improving oncology care and services for patients.”
