The minor who was arrested yesterday in connection with the theft of a vehicle from a car wash in Larnaca last Tuesday appeared today before the Larnaca District Court, and the court issued an order for his detention for a period of five days.

Another person is still wanted in connection with the same case.
The young man, against whom an arrest warrant had been issued in connection with the case, was located and arrested last night by members of the Bicycle Police.
According to the police, the 43-year-old reported the theft of his vehicle last Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the Larnaca Police Station. As he stated in his report, the vehicle was stolen the previous day—Tuesday, September 15—while it was at a car wash.
The case is being investigated by the Larnaca Traffic Police.
