AEK is set to hold its final practice ahead of tomorrow’s (Oct. 12, 7:00 p.m.) match against Omonia Aradippou for the fifth round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.
The Larnaca-based team’s sole goal is to pick up where they left off before the break and secure their second consecutive victory, following their win against Omonia 29M (2-1).

The “yellow-and-greens” trail league-leading Omonia by two points—though Omonia has played one more game—and a positive result would allow them to reclaim the top spot, which they might end up sharing with… be joined by AEL.
In this effort, Rubén Segues will be without three players: Amin, Tsakon, and Olivan.
The first has not yet fully recovered from his injury and will remain on the… sidelines with the goal of regaining his rhythm, while the Venezuelan is recovering from minor surgery to remove a screw from his foot.
Finally, the left back suffered a muscle injury during the break in AEK’s friendly match against Apollon.
