The “Red-and-Whites”… haven’t won a league game for the past two matchdays and are looking to get back on track with a win as they return to their home field—just as they did in emphatic fashion (3-0) the last time they faced Anorthosis. With a record of one win, one draw, and four losses, Angel López’s team sits in 12th place with four points and desperately needs those three valuable points.
On the other hand, the “Blues” are coming off two consecutive draws in Cyprus and Europe against APOEL and Riga, respectively, and are looking to prove they are the favorites in this matchup. At the same time, however, they also want to extend their undefeated streak this season in away league matches. Specifically, the goal is to go 4-for-4, as they have already won on the road against Karmiotissa, AEK, and Anorthosis.
Ricardo Sa Pinto is making his plans with some key absences, as Pepe is unlikely to be ready, Goldar and Engamaleu are doubtful, and the injured Kyriakides is definitely out.
Possible Pafos starting lineup: Majewski, Bruno, Maé, David Luiz, Ioannou, Sunić, Guga, Dragomir, Biel, Correia, Lele
