Hernán Lozada expressed his great satisfaction with his players’ performance, following Apollon’s 5-0 victory over Karmiotissa in the seventh matchday of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.
Speaking at the press conference, the Spanish coach congratulated his entire team on maintaining their unbeaten streak and expressed his belief that the Limassol side is the best in the league on offense.

We showed that we’re the best team in the league on offense; we put on a very good performance that helps us build confidence and momentum. Sometimes we focus too much on negative factors, like reading certain media reports about players. Now we have more players at our disposal. The fans were amazing today; every week they make us feel like we’re playing at home. We felt like we were one… I’m looking forward to the home game, to seeing the stadium filled with fans. Sometimes people think that games where you’re the favorite are must-wins, but the reality is that those games are the hardest, so let’s not take anything for granted. Alexis Garpozis (Karmiotissa): “After a score like that, there’s not much to take away from our side… We lost by a wide margin to a team that was superior in every aspect. We need to pick ourselves up as quickly as possible.”
