The GSP is a “fortress,” and APOEL remains undefeated at home!
With their victory over Omonia on May 29, the “blue-and-yellows” extended their winning streak, making it three out of three in front of their home crowd—having also defeated AEL and Nea Salamina.
Nikos Papadopoulos’s team has climbed to 11 points, and to make up for lost ground, they’ll need to take advantage of the favorable schedule ahead, compared to the one they faced in the first six matchdays.
Of course, to do so, the Nicosia-based team must also secure its first away win of the season against Omonia Aradippou in Matchday 8. Before that match, however, there is a Cup fixture in which APOEL hosts Chalkanora at GSP Stadium (October 28, 6:00 p.m.).
