The two women who were wanted by the police in connection with the theft from an elderly woman’s home in Agios Dometios voluntarily turned themselves in at the police station.
It is recalled that the theft occurred on October 20, when the two women allegedly stole a purse containing jewelry from the home of an 84-year-old woman. The two women allegedly managed to gain entry to the home under the pretext of collecting food for underprivileged children.

After they left the home, the elderly woman realized that a small bag containing jewelry had gone missing.
In an effort to track them down, the police had earlier released a photograph of the two women.
