There were some nerve-wracking moments during the game between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Dubai, during the 9th round of the EuroLeague, when Tomas Satoransky took a particularly nasty fall on the court, causing intense concern among his teammates and everyone in the arena.
The incident occurred toward the end of the third quarter. The Czech guard attempted to grab a rebound following a missed shot by Vasilije Mičić, but he landed hard on his back and appeared to hit his head as well. He was unable to get up, requiring medical attention and being carried off the court on a stretcher.
Hapoel Tel Aviv issued a statement regarding the player’s condition, stating that he suffered a serious blow during the fall and was transported to a hospital in Dubai to undergo the necessary tests.
Satoranski was conscious after the injury, and initial assessments suggest a possible concussion. So far, however, there is no definitive medical diagnosis.
