After the injury

Good news regarding Thomas Satoransky’s health. The Czech guard for Hapoel Tel Aviv gave everyone a scare after taking a nasty fall on the court during the third quarter of the away game against Dubai BC. After two days in the hospital and following all necessary tests, Satoransky was discharged, though no timeline has been given for his return to action.

“Following a series of medical tests he underwent at the hospital in Dubai, Tomas Satoranski was cleared to be discharged. We are happy to hear this news and wish Thomas a full recovery and continued good health. We will continue to provide updates as needed,” Hapoel stated in its announcement.

On Saturday morning, the 35-year-old star himself had sent a reassuring message from the hospital. “I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you individually for all the messages, support, and concern. A very special thank you to the Dubai Basketball Club, its players, and its staff for their immediate response and the help they offered me. I am truly grateful. A big thank you also to my teammates, the coaching staff, and everyone at Hapoel for all their support and help. It was definitely a scary moment, but now I feel much better. I hope to return to the court as soon as possible,” Satoranski said.
