Three days before facing AEK in Nea Filadelfia for Matchday 4 of the Champions League group stage, the “Merengues” cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory on the road against Racing Santander in the 11th matchday of La Liga!

José Mourinho’s team “sealed the deal” for the three points in the very first 45 minutes, heading into halftime with a 3-0 lead. Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring early with a penalty kick in the 11th minute, followed ten minutes later by a goal from Bellingham.

In the second half, the visitors had their chances to score even more goals, the most notable of which was Mbappé’s shot off the crossbar exactly one hour into the match.
So, Real Madrid will arrive in Athens for the match against AEK in third place in La Liga with 27 points, three points behind the leader, Barcelona, with Atlético Madrid sitting between them on 28 points.
