Thirteen minors in the hospital, statements from parents, and police investigations.
This is the current status of the incident that occurred at a Halloween party in Limassol, where minors consumed alcoholic beverages.
The minors, aged 15, 16, and 17, had to be transported to various hospitals in the city to receive first aid.
A 16-year-old with a skull fracture is being treated at Makarios Hospital; he was also among the minors who attended the Halloween party in Limassol.
The incident became a hot topic on social media.
“At a well-known club last night during the wild Halloween celebrations, underage kids were being served drinks shamelessly, without any checks or age verification. Is anyone listening? Is anyone watching?”
The police have already identified all 13 children, and as part of the investigation, statements have been taken from their parents.
According to the police, the parents had been informed that the event would take place at a different venue and without alcoholic beverages.
However, as the statements reveal, things turned out differently. Not only were alcoholic beverages present at the venue, but they were also offered to minors.
The investigation is now focusing on the organizers, as well as any other individuals who may be involved in the case.
