Krasava ENY’s press officer, Christos Michailoudis, who discussed the draw with AEK, the team’s improvement on the field, and the upcoming match against AEL. He also highlighted the challenges the team is facing on the field, as well as the importance of the league break for the team’s preparation ahead of the remainder of the season.

On the 2-2 draw with AEK: “A game that leaves us with mixed feelings. We certainly earned a point against a team contending for the championship, but since we were up 2-0, we could have won. The positive thing is that, for yet another game, the team is showing significant improvement and bears no resemblance to the team we saw in the early rounds. We’re seeing players who have stepped up their performance and are following the coach’s instructions.

Under Coach Romo, we’re consistently picking up points, and that’s encouraging. This team is nothing like the one that started the season. It’s a tough league where no team stands out from the rest. They’re all close in the standings, and no team can be certain it will lose a match. We’re competing on equal footing in every game, and our players are passionate. A prime example is the match against Olympiacos and AEK, which is an encouraging sign.”

On the match against AEL: “A team coming off two losses that will want to get back to winning ways. AEL has been revitalized compared to last year. In terms of injuries, Bahasa and Kamus are out. Brombay and Kintija Pardo are questionable, while Boaten is returning.

We have the break coming up, and we hope to have more players return so the team can prepare even further for what’s ahead. We hope the break will be beneficial for us. We’re trying to make up for lost ground because we lost to teams that have the same goals as us. I believe that this year, all three spots will be decided in the final rounds of the play-outs.”
