The Panthessaliko Stadium is expected to be packed for Greece’s big match against Serbia on November 16 (9:45 p.m.), which will mark the end of the “blue-and-whites’” campaign in Group 2 of League A of the Nations League.
Specifically, the match was announced as sold out, with more than 20,000 tickets made available to the public just today at noon (November 3) and snapped up within a few hours. This reflects the strong support the fans have shown for Ivan Jovanović’s team, which will be fighting to remain in one of the top two spots in the group.
Greece is tied with the Netherlands for first place with eight points, with Germany trailing by five points; if the “blue-and-whites” finish in the top two, they will secure a spot in the Nations League quarterfinals.
