“Averoff’s public rhetoric on the Cyprus issue is consistent with our own interpretation,” says the outgoing Co-Chair of VOLT

She states that VOLT is her political home, but she does not intend to seek a position either in the party leadership or in its collective bodies. On “25 Minutes,” Andromachi Sophocleous shares her own view on the causes of the party’s electoral failure and responds to claims regarding the damage caused by the Santi affair.

The outgoing Co-Chair of VOLT discusses the party’s struggle for survival, addresses rumors of internal party intrigues and the resulting strain, and expresses concern that we entered the presidential campaign cycle so early.

She addresses who the party’s potential allies are, noting the shared perspective of VOLT – Averof Neophytou regarding the Cyprus issue and refers to the new Political Council for the decision on whom to support in the 2028 race.

Regarding the Cyprus issue, Andromache Sophocleous accuses Christodoulides of a tendency to delay – Erciyuman, emphasizing that at a time when everything around us is falling apart, we must push for a solution much more urgently.
