“The President is very good at managing day-to-day affairs,” says the Vice President of the Democratic Party
The Vice President of the Democratic Party launches a scathing attack against Nikos Christodoulides, arguing that the President of the Republic is not a charismatic leader, but rather a very capable manager of day-to-day affairs and a very capable Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Marinos Kleanthous states that, for political and other reasons, he supports the Democratic Party’s withdrawal from the government, while also making it clear that he does not rule out any cooperation in the run-up to the presidential election, provided there is a political agreement.
Among other things, he discusses what went wrong for the Democratic Party in the parliamentary elections, the party’s future, the difficulties in the dialogue on uniting the centrist bloc, and why he supports a loose federation.
