Activities under the Allwyn Care initiative
Through the Allwyn Care initiative, Allwyn Cyprus actively supports PASYKAF’s public awareness program for the early diagnosis of cancer, which plays a vital role in informing and raising public awareness. More than 250,000 people have been informed through related campaigns, while in 2025, nursing and palliative care services were provided to 8,763 people living with cancer and their loved ones, through 52,072 meetings held throughout Cyprus.
In addition, Allwyn Care supports the development of the Bone Marrow Donor Registry and the modernization of the Karaiskakio Foundation’s diagnostic laboratories. The goal is to strengthen efforts to combat hematological malignancies. Today, there are more than 200,000 Cypriot volunteer bone marrow donors, and more than 1,000 donors have already provided transplants to patients in 36 countries.
The Allwyn Care initiative also includes the programs “Close Friends,” “I Support,” “I Care,” “I Learn,” “Nutrition and Health,” “Empower,” and “Aromatherapy” run by Europa Donna Cyprus, which provide support to people with breast cancer and gynecological cancers. Through these programs, more than 3,200 free specialized sessions are offered annually, and the number is increasing every year. In 2026, more than 400 new patients benefited from the “Close Friends” program.
Also part of Allwyn Care are Europa Uomo Cyprus’s initiatives for awareness, prevention, and early diagnosis of prostate cancer, which have a significant social impact. For example, in 2025 alone, 10,000 citizens were educated through more than 50 initiatives across Cyprus, and 513 free PSA tests were offered.
With the central message “More Care for Everyone,” Allwyn Care is evolving into a truly comprehensive platform for supporting and strengthening public health in Cyprus. Overall, Allwyn Care combines the upgrading of public infrastructure with initiatives focused on prevention, equal access, and community engagement to maximize social benefit.
