Following the arrest of two young women, aged 25 and 26, in the early hours of Thursday morning in Larnaca in connection with a case of receiving stolen property; they are also alleged to be involved in cases of theft, conspiracy to commit a felony and a misdemeanor, as well as a misdemeanor falling under the provision of the Penal Code regarding the suppression of brothels.
According to the head of the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department, Giorgos Charalambous, the Larnaca CID arrested two young women, aged 25 and 26, from a third country, around 3:40 a.m. for the flagrant offense of receiving stolen goods.

Mr. Charalambous reports that subsequent investigations revealed they are implicated in offenses of theft, conspiracy to commit felonies and misdemeanors, as well as a misdemeanor falling under the provision regarding the suppression of brothels in the Penal Code.
The two women are expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court later today for the issuance of detention orders.
