Pension Reform: Specific aspects of “Pillar 0” under discussion at the Labor Advisory Council

At the next meeting, the 12% actuarial adjustment

During today’s session of the Labor Advisory Council, chaired by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Marinos Mousiouttas, the discussion on the various aspects of Pillar “0,” which concerns the low-pensioner allowance, took place as part of the intensified dialogue on the upcoming reform of the pension system.

At the next meeting of the Labor Advisory Council, scheduled for this coming Thursday, September 3, 2026, the government’s proposal regarding the 12% actuarial adjustment is expected to be discussed.
