The two brothers who buried their mother in the garden of their home last Monday (October 19) in the Amaliada area have been released. Charges were filed against them for failing to report a death.
After the exhumation of the 79-year-old woman’s remains, which took place yesterday morning (October 21) in the presence of a medical examiner in the family’s backyard, the two brothers then proceeded to reburial their mother, this time in a field.

According to information from ilialive, the field where they buried their 79-year-old mother belongs to another owner, but the brothers were using it.
The two men, aged 37 and 44, dug a half-meter-deep hole and placed their mother, wrapped in a blanket, inside it.
According to reports, following the case file compiled by the Ilida Regional Police Department for a violation of Article 181, a new case file was also opened against the 37-year-old by the Ilida Police Station Elida, regarding the welfare of the dogs on the property, due to the conditions in which one of the dogs was found next to the body.
