Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed Turkey’s determination to move forward with achieving its goals, despite the obstacles, during his speech at the official dinner he hosted in Ankara, marking the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey and the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
“We are determined to neutralize those who attempt to come between us and our goals,” the Turkish President stated, without naming specific countries or targets.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan noted that Turkey is moving forward with the vision of the “Century of the Turks,” declaring that “we will proclaim the next century the Century of the Turks.”
Referring to the 103rd anniversary of the Turkish Republic, he noted that this year’s celebrations hold special significance due to the presence of the leaders of Turkish-speaking states in Ankara.
“We are deeply moved to celebrate Republic Day together with our brothers from the Organization of Turkic States, which is our family gathering,” he said.
During his speech, the Turkish President specifically thanked the leaders participating in the events, including Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman, whom he addressed as “President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.”
He also thanked the presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, as well as the representatives of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan asserted that the Turkish Republic, 103 years after its founding, is a shared achievement of the country’s 86 million citizens and continues to achieve significant successes in all areas.
At the beginning of his speech, he paid tribute to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the leaders of the Turkish national struggle, the fallen, and the veterans.
