The solar eclipse that took place yesterday—and was visible across much of Europe for the first time in 29 years—provided the occasion for unique photos and videos from around the globe.
Among them, the jump performed by Spanish skateboarder Dani León stands out, as his country was one of those that got to enjoy this unique celestial phenomenon.

As seen in the video, León, who represented Spain at the Olympic Games in Tokyo and Paris in 2020 and 2024, respectively, set up a ramp with the solar eclipse as a backdrop.
The Spanish skateboarder took a run-up, leaped into the air, and, as he wrote on social media, “I took the jump of my life.”
