Raheem Sterling pleaded guilty to reckless driving and is likely to be jailed, as he drove his Lamborghini for more than an hour on highways during rush hour, while inhaling “laughing gas.”
The former star of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool appeared in court in Basingstoke and pleaded guilty to three charges after evidence was presented regarding his dangerous driving, his use of nitrous oxide, and the crash involving his extremely expensive car.
Following all this, Sterling had his driver’s license revoked and was released on bail until November 25, at which time his sentence will be determined unless his case is referred to a higher court.
Sterling admitted to possessing nitrous oxide, as well as to refusing to provide a sample when asked to do so during a routine check.
