Theodosia Yamouki celebrated a major success at the “Taranto 2026” Mediterranean Games, winning the bronze medal in the +68kg Kumite division.
The Cypriot champion delivered an outstanding performance at the event and climbed onto the third step of the podium, adding yet another significant achievement to the Cypriot delegation’s record.

At the same time, Yamouki’s bronze medal takes on even greater significance, as it is Cyprus’s 15th medal at this year’s Mediterranean Games. With this achievement, the Cypriot delegation surpassed the previous record of 14 medals, set in Oran in 2022, making history at the Games.
