What did Robbie Williams say? The famous artist went viral because of an incident that occurred during an interview he gave on the sidelines of the World Cup final.
The English singer performed during the halftime show of the final, Spain vs. Argentina, which was unusually large for the tournament and, more generally, for a soccer match.
Robbie Williams gave an interview on German television, and more observant viewers noticed that while he was speaking, a white object fell from his mouth and stuck to the microphone. The 52-year-old singer then picked it up, and when he scratched his forehead, the object stuck to the spot.
Various theories followed about what the object was, and many on social media speculated that it was drugs, specifically cocaine.

“I’d like to apologize for the microphone that fell onto the microphone yesterday—it was deeply unprofessional,” Robbie Williams said in a video he posted on social media, adding: “People were worried about me, but it’s OK, because I still have plenty left…” as he pulled two pieces of candy out of his mouth.
