After a hiatus of more than two months for the summer break, the action returns to the 2026 NASCAR EURO SERIES, with Vladimiros Tziortzis on track to meet his goals, competing in two classes: the OPEN and the V8GP.
The fourth race of the season will take place on the weekend of August 29–30 August at the Autodrom Most circuit in the Czech Republic, which is actually the championship’s final stop before the semifinals at the Autodromo di Vallelunga in Italy in September (September 19–20) and the finals at Circuit Zolder in Belgium in October (October 17–18).
Clearly, during the break, the Cypriot driver, along with his team, SPEEDHOUSE, worked to create the right conditions for achieving the best results of the year, so he can finish as high as possible in both categories.
As a reminder, following the first races of the year in Spain, France, and Great Britain, Vladimiros Tziortzis is in 5th place in the OPEN category, very close to the leaders, having recorded four top-five finishes and a total of nine top-ten results. In addition, he has secured pole position once. Furthermore, in the V8GP, where he is 6th in the overall standings, he has finished in the top five once and in the top ten four times.
“During the time when there were no scheduled races, we aimed to stay sharp and work on whatever needed improvement, so that when we return to action, we can come back strong and earn as many points as possible in every remaining race to achieve our big goal,” says Vladimiros Tziortzis.
It should be noted that the Autodrom Most track is 4.212 km, and Vladimir Tziortzis will cover a total of over 260 km over the two-day event, as he will cover 71.77 km over 17 laps, while the two OPEN races will each consist of 14 laps covering 58.35 km.
According to the race schedule, following Friday’s practice sessions, qualifying for both the V8GP and OPEN categories will take place on Saturday morning (August 29), while the first race in both categories will be held that same afternoon. The second race will take place on Sunday (August 30), first for the OPEN class and then for the V8GP.
Like the other races that have taken place, as well as those to come, this one in the Czech Republic will be broadcast on Cytavision, giving Cypriot viewers the opportunity to enjoy Vladimiros Tziortzis’s performance in the international championship, which is recognized and certified by the FIA.
