Two young people were found dead inside a parked vehicle in the garage of a house on Milou Street in Piraeus.
According to initial reports, the victims were a 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, who were discovered by the man’s father, who immediately notified the authorities.
An EKAB ambulance rushed to the scene, and the crew confirmed their deaths.
According to reports, the medical examiner’s initial assessment revealed no signs of injury, as neither the 28-year-old man nor the 27-year-old woman had any visible wounds or abrasions.
At the same time, the same reports indicate that the vehicle in which they were found reportedly had the engine and air conditioning running, while the garage door was closed. Consequently, investigators are examining the possibility that fumes from the engine entered the car’s interior through the air conditioning system, causing the two teenagers to lose consciousness.
The exact causes of their deaths are expected to be determined by the medical examiner’s report, while the Greek Police are continuing their preliminary investigation to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
