A fatal swimming incident for a family of tourists in Larnaca, where the mother met a tragic end.
According to reports, the tragedy occurred around 6:20 p.m. at a CYTA beach, while the family of five—all European nationals—was at the beach.

The mother and two of her three minor children—two girls—were in the water when, under unclear circumstances, the mother drowned. She was pulled from the water unconscious, and despite resuscitation efforts, she was pronounced dead.
The two girls were taken to Larnaca General Hospital, while one was transferred to Makarios Hospital due to the severity of her condition.
The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
