At the Third Cemetery of Athens—where, just a few days ago, the final chapter of a great artistic journey came to a close—the family of George Mazonakis returned today, Thursday, September 17, for the nine-day memorial service marking the ninth day since his death.
The ceremony took place among close family members, in an atmosphere of deep emotion and away from the public attention that had accompanied the days of the final farewell to the beloved singer.
