The Fire Department was put on alert following an incident in which a child was trapped.
According to Fire Department Spokesperson Andreas Kettis, a team with a rescue vehicle responded to free the child’s hand, which had become stuck in a metal object, likely a kitchen utensil.

Fire Department personnel managed to free the child’s hand. The child was then transported by ambulance to the Emergency Department of Nicosia General Hospital.
