A search is currently underway to locate a 44-year-old woman who has been missing after falling overboard from a Bahamian-flagged cruise ship off the coast of Zakynthos.
The incident occurred in the sea area 72 nautical miles southwest of Zakynthos, with search operations being coordinated by the Joint Search and Rescue Coordination Center (EKSED).

A lifeboat, a Coast Guard patrol boat, three passing ships, and a Hellenic Air Force helicopter are participating in the operation.
North winds of 3 to 4 Beaufort are blowing in the area, while the search for the 44-year-old woman continues.
