While Anna Vissi and Nikos Karvelas remain at loggerheads and the Independent Authority for Public Revenue’s audit of their finances continues, the artist’s inner circle assures that there are absolutely no outstanding issues regarding her tax obligations. It is emphasized that the singer is ready to cooperate and provide any information requested.

Anna Vissi is monitoring all developments and preparing her next steps. Sources close to the singer stated on Mega TV’s “Smile Again!” show that there is not the slightest concern regarding the AADE audit.

“Audits are standard procedure at all major concerts, especially with such a large number of tickets. The same thing happened last year and the year before, with all obligations having been fully met. The exact same procedure is being followed this year and is expected to be completed in the coming days. Everything is proceeding absolutely smoothly and according to plan. None of the media reports regarding companies in England and Cyprus with VAT debts are true.

We have been fully compliant with the law and have met all our obligations throughout the years. And this year, just like every previous year, all the necessary documents, receipts, and agreements have been submitted as required. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this,” the singer’s representatives stated.

It should be noted that a team from the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) visited Nikos Karvelas’s residence to serve him with a document regarding undeclared income and tax liabilities from four previous, totaling 850,000 euros. He has been given a 20-day deadline to provide the necessary explanations.

The banking transactions of the parties involved are now also under scrutiny in order to cross-check actual income against declared income.
