Alec Peters returned to Greece as an opponent of Olympiacos, but the welcome the “Red-and-Whites” gave him could hardly be described as merely that of an opponent.
On the sidelines of the game against Armani Milan for the 9th round of the EuroLeague, Olympiacos BC honored the American forward for his four-year contribution to the team. The fans at Sunel Arena took part in the special moment, giving him a warm round of applause and cheering him on.
Peters wore the Olympiacos jersey for four seasons, leaving his mark on the team and celebrating major successes. Among them were the EuroLeague title in 2026, two Greek Cups (2023, 2024), three league titles (2023, 2025, 2026), and three Super Cups (2023, 2024, 2025).
His return, therefore, was deeply emotional, with Olympiacos fans recognizing the contribution of a player who was closely linked to the team’s successes.
