Krasava ENY may not have earned the three points against AEK, but it has every reason to take the positives from the 2-2 draw in Matchday 8 of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.
Fernández Romo’s team took full advantage of the “yellow-and-blacks’” mistakes and, with two well-taken penalty kicks, took a two-goal lead shortly before halftime. In the second half, the home team had opportunities to score a third goal, which could have “sealed” the victory. Instead, AEK fought back, equalized, and even came close to a complete comeback.
Despite losing the lead and facing the risk of leaving empty-handed, the Spanish coach’s team showed character, fought until the end, and added another point to their tally. Most importantly, Krasava ENY is building a small three-game unbeaten streak, showing that it is on an upward trajectory.
