The “Koubarades Agapis” project was a great success – Radio Marathon 2025 took place throughout Cyprus during the street fundraiser on November 2 and 3, 2026. The ten “Koubarades Agapis” teams traveled through all the districts (Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Free Famagusta, and Paphos) collecting donations from municipalities, communities, schools, companies, and organizations.
The launch of the Nicosia “Love Piggy Banks” took place at an event on November 2 at the Holy Metropolis of Tamassos in the presence of students from local schools. His Eminence the Metropolitan of Tamassos blessed the “Love Piggy Banks” with holy water and wished them every success in their work.

The event was attended by Mr. Takis Feidia, CEO of ERB Cyprus Insurance Holdings, the General Manager of ERB Insurance, Mr. Andreas Stylianou, and the Director of Sales and Business Development at ERB Insurance, Mr. Haris Pastides.
The ten “Koubarades Agapis” (Love Piggy Banks) traveled through dozens of municipalities and communities across all districts of Cyprus, collecting donations as well as the public’s support for this commendable institution of love, the 2026 Radiomarathon, through various events in communities and municipalities across Cyprus.
The Love Savings Jars are supported by the Union of Municipalities, the Union of Communities, Brinks, and EKO Cyprus, which provides fuel free of charge.
The public’s support has been the key to the great success of the “Love Piggy Banks” project.
