Olympiacos hosted Red Star at Sunel Arena for the 10th round of the EuroLeague and lost 62-57, despite giving it their all—with Vezenkov and Fournier leading the comeback from a 22-point deficit in the third quarter—they were unable to pull it off.

The European and Greek champions now have a 7-3 record and remain in the top four, while the Serbs also have the same record (7-3) and continue their upward trajectory.

The top performers for Giorgos Bartzokas’s team were Vezenkov with 27 points and 6 rebounds and Fournier, in his return to action, with 10 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds.

For Red Star, the outstanding Nouora stood out with 18 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists (5 turnovers), 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Olympiacos’ next game is against Dubai BC on November 12, again at home, while Belgrade’s “Red-and-Whites” will play Real Madrid in Madrid (11/12).

Quarter scores: 11-19, 22-40, 41-51, 57-62.
