Nottingham Forest’s impressive 3-1 home victory over Manchester City at “City Ground” gave Vangelis Marinakis’s team a huge boost in the standings, lifting them out of the relegation zone.
Manchester United took its place in the Premier League’s “red zone,” with the "Red Devils" now sitting in 18th place with just 7 points after nine matches, as they prepare to host Aston Villa tomorrow.
Despite having played one fewer match, tonight will go down in Manchester United’s history as a “black” day for the club, as for the first time in 40 whole years, the end of a matchday will find them in the relegation zone.
The last time something similar happened was way back in 1986, when the team was in 21st place after the 15th matchday.
