Vicario was the hero for Juventus, as in the 90’+3′ he made a tremendous save on a shot and follow-up attempt by Mastaduno, who was looking to score the winning goal.
Pelegrino opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a spectacular header off a corner kick by Poté, putting Fiorentina up 1-0. Juventus pressed and, following a set piece, Voltemande scored the equalizer in the 32nd minute.
The second half was also fast-paced, and Fiorentina scored again in the 54th minute when Enzie made it 2-1. The Turin team posed little threat, but found a way through their favored set pieces, with Bremer equalizing to make it 2-2, which was also the final score.
