Kostas Papanikolaou will have to sit out for about a week, as Giorgos Bartzokas revealed after Olympiacos’ victory over Amarousios.
The captain of the “Red-and-Whites” was not included in the 12-man roster for the game, as he is suffering from plantar fasciitis of the rectus abdominis muscle.
Olympiacos’ coach, during the postgame press conference, provided an update on the Greek forward’s condition, stating: “The doctors told us he’ll be out for a week.”
As a result, Papanikolaou is unlikely to be available for the game against Dubai BC at SEF (Nov. 12 – 9:15 p.m.), for the 11th round of the EuroLeague, as well as the away game against Aris (Nov. 15 – 5:30 p.m.), for the Stoiximan GBL.
