Roads on Samos turned into rivers on Sunday night (Nov. 1) due to the severe weather affecting the island.
According to samos24.gr, serious problems have been reported in the Iraio area, where more than six fire department vehicles have been dispatched. Meanwhile, the Fire Department has received more than three calls to pump water out of homes.

A video from the area shows a man attempting to cross the street but struggling considerably due to the rushing water.
At the same time, two excavators and a loader from the Municipality of Eastern Samos are on site, working in cooperation with the North Aegean Region to help address the problems.
Due to water accumulation on the road surface, drivers are advised to avoid the route from the airport to Heraion.
