Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated today in a post on X that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan “is dragging Turkey into dangerous adventures in Syria” and that his country “will not allow any entity to threaten its security.”
Turkey, it should be recalled, categorically rejected yesterday, Wednesday, categorically rejected what it called “baseless accusations” by Israel regarding its military presence in Syria, after Israel bombed a Syrian airbase near the Turkish border and claimed that Syria was preparing to allow Turkish troops to deploy there.
