At a ceremony where the Spaniards swept the board, Harry Kane held the English flag high! The 33-year-old forward succeeded Ousmane Dembélé and won the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
This is the highest individual honor for the 33-year-old Bayern Munich striker. He becomes the first Englishman to win the award since Michael Owen in 2001—and he’s claiming the top spot right here in London!
However, beyond this great honor, the English international striker stole the show for yet another reason. Specifically, according to a report in “The Sun,” Kane appeared at the ceremony wearing an extremely rare Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Blue Sapphire,” valued at the astronomical sum of one million pounds!
Kane’s rare Rolex that costs a fortune
This impressive watch is one of Rolex’s most unique pieces, as it is a model not included in the Swiss company’s official catalog.
Crafted from 18-karat white gold, the 40-millimeter watch features a dial made of natural obsidian with silvery reflections, while its bezel is adorned with 36 baguette-cut blue sapphires, which give it its striking appearance.
The Daytona is one of Rolex’s most iconic collections, originally designed for professional race car drivers, featuring a sophisticated chronograph movement.

It’s worth noting that tennis legend Roger Federer had also worn the exact same model; he was photographed wearing this particular watch prior to the 2025 Laver Cup.
Kane is known for his particular fondness for luxury watches and boasts an impressive collection. However, this time, the most valuable item he took with him as he left the ceremony wasn’t the one on his wrist, but the Golden Ball he had won.
