Once again, José Mourinho stole the show with his quip! The Real Madrid coach was asked about the big derby between Atlético Madrid and Barcelona, which will take place on Sunday (Nov. 8, 10:00 p.m.), and gave a delightful response.
Specifically, the Portuguese coach made no secret of his preference, saying that the ideal scenario for him would be for both teams to lose—something, of course, that’s impossible in soccer.
“I’d like both of them to lose, but that’s not possible,” the Special One remarked, drawing smiles with his disarming comment.
His remark makes perfect sense, as Atlético and Barcelona are ahead of Real Madrid in the La Liga standings. Thus, their head-to-head match presents an opportunity for his team to gain ground in the battle for the top, provided, of course, that they secure a victory against Valencia.
« J’AIMERAIS QUE LES DEUX PERDENT MAIS CE N’EST PAS POSSIBLE.
