The statement from Panathinaikos BC:
“Olympiacos BC, which was the first to warmly congratulate the detained Evangelos Liolios upon his election to the Hellenic Basketball Federation (EOK), praising his “exceptional” work up to that point, this very club that repeatedly intervened in support of Vasiliki Tsaroucha’s appointments to the ASEAD and filed lawsuits to defend the honor of the referee who is under house arrest—this very same basketball club that hasn’t uttered a single word about the biggest scandal in basketball—has once again filed complaints with the ESKE Disciplinary Committee because… the… sport has been discredited.
